Distribution of 200 School Bags to Displaced Children in Tabqa with Support from a German Organization

In a humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting the educational process for displaced children, the Union of Teachers in North and East Syria, in coordination with the Union of Teachers of Afrin and Shahba, distributed 200 school bags fully equipped with stationery to displaced children from Afrin and Shahba, currently residing in displacement camps in the city of Tabqa.

The distribution took place today, on April 24, 2025, with support from the German organization Global Care, which provided the necessary funding for this humanitarian and educational project.

Organizers of the campaign emphasized that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to uphold the right of children to education despite the difficult circumstances caused by displacement. They also stressed the importance of cooperation between local and international organizations to ensure a proper educational environment for children in the camps.
